Ron has been a mixed-media artist for over thirty years. He's as comfortable and skilled with a hammer and chisel as he is with an anvil and forge. Ron's carvings are simultaneously primitive yet evolved, natural yet shaped by the hands of man, and are guaranteed to endure the test of time. His blades are hand crafted for durability and functionality from reclaimed materials and are honed to an unbelievably fine edge. Ron also works with leather, copper, brass, and other materials to produce unique, expertly-crafted, and highly functional works of art.

All Modoc Studio orders are fulfilled by and ship from Modoc Studio in Chillicothe, Ohio, but your invoice and charges are from Ohio Wood Art. If you purchase Ohio Wood Art products and Modoc Studio products in the same order, Ohio Wood Art products will ship separately from Modoc Studio products and may be delivered on a different date or be subject to shipping delays that do not affect Ohio Wood Art products. Modoc Studio products are not eligible for free ground shipping offered by Ohio Wood Art.

If there's a stone in your yard that would look amazing with a carving by Ron but it's not possible to move or ship, Ron is happy to discuss travel to your location to make your vision a reality. There's no stone that's too large for a Modoc Studio carving- if you want a Mount Rushmore of your very own, Ron's up for the job.
